The Mothership has a mission to pump up the volume elsewhere this Thursday night - we'll be down at Theaterscool in Bloomington, IL to provide sound for an MC showcase featuring Civil Writes (Diezel P, Youngs) along with local acts I2K, Sir Francis, and the PlexIcats. Show starts at 9PM. We'll be back next Thursday night with more electrocosmic goodness.

9/9/2010

Done editing some tracks (scrubbed clean) for tonight. Some local love with tracks from Mad Cee (of the Morlocks) and Youngs (now rocking the mic for Civil Writes - btw, show tomorrow @ ArtKore in Downtown Normal for only $5). Also, fitting in a crucial track from the Ladyboys (Syracuse, NY) - Blo-no was the stomping ground of two of the three member group. Some jams! Don't sleep.

Playlist Possibilities:

Exile, Onra, Flying Lotus, Hudson Mohawke, El-P, Leila, Mos Def, Prefuse 73, The Radio Dept., Gold Panda, Fennesz, Squarepusher, Clark, DJ Shadow, Cool Calm Pete, Cut Chemist, Edan, The Roots, Pretty Lights, Amon Tobin, Washed Out, Telefon Tel Aviv, The Field, Blockhead, Oh No, The Tuss, and more.

We Have Lift-off

The Mothership has launched! We're in orbit thanks to Illinois Wesleyan University (WESN, Bloomington, IL), Waiting Room Records (Normal, IL), Jared Alcorn, Ed Thome, and Negus Negast (of the Lion's Den) - many thanks, cheers, 1♥.

We'll be live every Thursday this Fall semester from 10:00PM until Midnight (or later) churning up the cosmos. Be sure to check our blog for upcoming events, giveaways, and full set lists (you can also check our live playlist log at Radioactivity). If the stars align, we're hoping to include local musicians when possible (contact us!).
